The BBH group strengthens its tax department led by BBH partner, sworn public auditor and tax advisor Manfred Ettinger with two experienced practitioners. 

Lawyer and tax advisor Dr. Dirk Koch will join the BBH group as partner on 01/01/2025. Dirk Koch is a specialist lawyer for tax law and an expert in rules and regulations governing corporate taxation. He has been advising clients on tax law in the context of corporate and real estate transactions, company conversions, business acquisitions, sales and successions as well as international tax law. His practice also encompasses tax compliance as well as the tax-efficient structuring of closed-ended and open-ended funds. Dirk Koch will join the BBH group from the law firm GSK Stockmann, where he has most recently held the position of equity partner.

Lawyer and tax advisor Sophia von Hake, who has been with BBH since 2018, will be made partner at the BBH group on 01/01/2025. The specialist lawyer for tax law assists companies in designing and optimising restructuring processes and provides tax advice to primarily public sector entities with a focus on their associated companies as well as mergers and acquisitions.

Dr. Dirk Koch and Sophia von Hake will strengthen the team of long-standing BBH partner, sworn public auditor and tax advisor Manfred Ettinger. At the same time, BBH partner, tax advisor and public auditor Rudolf Böck will move to an of-counsel role within the BBH group on 01/01/2025.
