The decision of the municipality of around 2,000 inhabitants not only emphasises its commitment to sustainable energy but also secures a substantial share in the value added. The installation that is already under construction contributes to reducing carbon emissions and strengthens the local economy.
BBH partner and lawyer Wolfram von Blumenthal comments: “We are very pleased to have secured a noteworthy share in the value added for the municipality of Fuchsstadt. The decision of Fuchsstadt is exemplary for the commitment of municipalities to the energy transition.”
The municipality’s participation in the ground-mounted solar PV project shows that Fuchsstadt is determined to actively contribute to climate protection and pursue a sustainable path to the future. This is an important step that not only strengthens the local energy industry, but also opens up new opportunities for a sustainable development in Lower Franconia.
