The sale of DSD-Duales System Holding GmbH & Co. KG was completed on 10/08/2022. As a result, the company Der Grüne Punkt (“Green Dot”) also changes hands.

The DSD group operates in the circular economy with a focus on the disposal of packaging of private final consumers through the licensing of sales packaging which is organised by its subsidiary Der Grüne Punkt – Duales System Deutschland GmbH (DSD). Through its subsidiaries, the DSD group is also active in the processing of plastic waste. DSD was sold to the Circular Resources group, a company active in the chemical recycling of plastics. With this acquisition, Circular Resources gains for the first time an operational foothold in the German recycling market.
