Dr. Sascha Michaels currently focuses on advising local authorities and public companies (particularly municipal energy utility and transport companies) on procurement and State aid law. His practice ranges from assessing and reviewing individual legal aspects to providing comprehensive advice on the design of tender procedures. Dr. Sascha Michaels also represents clients in court and before public procurement tribunals.

- 2002 doctorate in law (Dr. iur.) at Halle University on a topic of European law
