Dr. Ella Middelhoff works on matters relating to the transformation of energy systems. Her area of work includes a wide range of tasks, such as the model-based forecast of decarbonisation paths for supply areas as well as research on the transformation of industrial sectors, energy consumption development, integration and economic feasibility of renewable energy installations and impacts on existing infrastructures.

• 2019-2022 Ph.D. student and research associate at the Institute for Sustainable Futures, an independent research institute at the University of Technology Sydney (Australia)
