Daniel Altenburg specialises in procurement, building and architectural law in complex tenders. He provides project and building-related advice on the drafting of contracts, the enforcement of and defence against claims, and, if necessary, handles their assertion in court proceedings. Furthermore, he advises clients on legal matters relating to procurement law in the context of public tenders and represents them in review procedures before public procurement tribunals or in complaint proceedings before higher regional courts. In addition to his work as a lawyer, Daniel Altenburg co-authors a commentary on the building law under the German Civil Code (BGB-Bauvertragsrecht, published by C.H. Beck, 2nd edition 2023). He is also a regular contributor to journals on procurement, building and architectural law.
